The unique stereo sound of the
Porter Twin Disc is the product of four musical combs, playing a total
of 304 teeth on two carefully synchronized 15 1/2" copper-plated
discs specially crafted to ensure consonance. The fine clockworks also
exemplify a unique Porter design, synchronizing each musical bedplate
for optimum performance in every 20-minute winding.
A unique soundboard is responsible
for each instrument's rich tone. Soundboards are so essential, in fact,
Porter's own Twin Disc is custom fitted with three to enhance the
quality of recordings and capture the thrilling harmonies of five
